Truesounds - January '08

This one was actually slated for last month, but I never got a chance to post it....so we'll just call it January's mix and leave it at that. Some new and exciting entries this month. Namely two groups I just discovered and am loving both of their respective albums; The Fox Hunt, and The Gougers. Check 'em out.

Off their 2007 "Long Day For The Weathervane", really digging this album

03 Magnolia Electric Co. - Montgomery
Off the Nashville Moon disc of their epic 2007 box set "Sojourner"

04 The Hackensaw Boys - Sun's Work Undone
Can't recall, but I think this is off their 2004 album

05 Wrinkle Neck Mules - The Wicks Have Met
Of course this is off the album of the same name, this years "wicks have met"

06 Jubal Lee Young - More Than Anything
hmmmm, can't remember the name of this album either, but it's good and just came out. This is Steve Young's son BTW

07 Hayes Carll - Hey Baby Where You Been
Off his last album from 05, can't wait for his new one early this year

08 The Sadies - The First Inquistion (Part 4)
Off 2007's "New Seasons"

09 Drive-By Truckers - That Man I Shot
Rockin' little song off thier soon to be released "brighter than creation's dark"

10 Corb Lund - Student Visas
Off his newest, just released "horse soldier, horse soldier". Lovin' this song

11 Blue Mountain - Epitaph
Off their essential album, Dog Days.....from 1996 I think

12 Richmond Fontaine - Capsized
Off their newest 13 cities (I think that's the title)
