Here's an oldie but a goodie. Son Volt in their prime, live on the radio. This is one of my favorite discs and I recently stumbled back upon it so I just had to throw it up here. Some of these cuts have appeared in other places (like the fantastic Retrospective) but this disc has a real solid flow to it that just takes you back. Hope you guys enjoy it.MP3

What an awesome treat! This is a gem that I have had for some time, but am very happy to seee posted here for everyone to enjoy as I have. The live cover of "She's More To Be Pitied" is a real classic here- it really showcases the individual talents of each member of the band like no other song. It's part of a set they did on KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic.
