You wanted more Backsliders...you got more Backsliders. This is their final album from 1999, and while not as good as it's predecessor it's still damned good. This is another group I wish would get back together (take a page from Blue Mountain's book guys) and put out a killer album. As mentioned in the comments section of previous backsliders posts, there are numerous bands who have this band name. A blues band from Texas, a rock band from Australia...but to me, the Backsliders will always be a BAR BAND FROM NORTH CAROLINA!!MP3

Thank you So much for the first Backsliders rekkid. (I'm the same guy that sent you the additional tracks to SonVolt's 'The Search'. Anyway, I had looked all over for it with no luck I saw'em just after Southern lines was released with Brad Rice (Son Volt..among others) on guitar. They did NOT disappoint. Have you heard the band 'Belleville' ? ....presumably named after the hometown of Jay & Jeff (Uncle Tupelo). Some damn solid material. I stumbled onto'em through Blogspot.
