ReplyDeleteAny chance you could put up the Kane, Welch, Kaplan?
Thanks.
These samplers just seem to get better and better. I've been playing the last one continuously since you posted it.
ReplyDeleteAnd Jackie Greene is a precocious young genius.

ReplyDeleteTo reciprocate, here's a show you must listen to, from a guy you might not know, but you should. He even does a cover of 'Tear Stained Eye'.

ReplyDeleteAgain thanks for this new and excellent compilation.

Man, what a sampler! It's going to be very difficult to top this one.
ReplyDeleteI ordered four CDs from this post. Sam Baker's CDs will be collectors in the future, for sure.
Here is a thank you for this post. These are edited versions of the Mark Jungers & The Whistling Mules posted above. There are a couple mic squeals that I softened a bit but the over all quality of the recordings are very good. Thanks again and enjoy!

ReplyDeleteI'm looking for the comp CD called Rig Rock Deluxe: A Musical Salute to American Truck Drivers. It's got a bunch of alt-co people on it such as Son Volt and the BRox. Ya got? Anyone?
Sam Baker! Wow! I've just bought the album on the strength of this track on the sampler. Many thanks once again.

Another absolutely great sampler....
ReplyDeleteBTW bit of a latecomer to this amazing blog..... have just noticed the Chris Knight live gig, but sadly it has vanished... any chance of a quick re-up? Am desperate to get my hands on this one..as I had tickets for the London show but it was cancelled because he was snowbound in Chicago..and didn't reschedule...
Or..do you know anywhere else it might be found..?
