So you guys know I've been waiting for this movie to come out since I heard of it. I mean, it's a western starring Kris Kristofferson, & Dwight Yoakam, and it's written by Ray Wylie Hubbard. Also soundtrack by Ray Wylie himself. Did I also mention the gun totin' dwarf!!??

Word is that this will be a digital download some point early this year.....which I hope means the within the next 6 weeks. A shame this thing will not see nationwide release, but fuck I can't even find Crazy Heart playing at any theater within 100 miles.

Crazy heart is well worth the 100 mile trip brother. Great movie, but it is easy for me to say, seeing that I didn't have to drive that distance. Thanks for the heads-up on this Kristofferson/Yoakam movie. I hadn't even heard of it but I'm going to be looking for is now.

ReplyDeleteI would like to catch Crazy Heart too sometime. I was looking at the soundtrack the other day....great song list....just not sure I want to hear Robert Duvall sing the classic Billy Joe Shaver song "Live Forever".
