From The Archives: George Jones & The Jones Boys - Radio Jamboree 1963

Thought I should throw this up to kick start another string of posts with the "outlaw" theme. George Jones, one of the original outlaws of country music, in his honky tonkin' prime way back in 1963. This is one of the best shows I've posted on here, an instant classic, studio quality. If you didn't grab it the first time, don't sleep on it this time! Original description says it all.

BY POPULAR DEMAND!!!! Allright, let me just say it.....THIS IS KILLER! This is honky tonk George in full stride.....better yet, this is honky tonk benzedrine flat-top George in full stride. This is not your momma's George Jones people, this is your on'ry grandaddy's George Jones. Live in the studio on the radio sometime in 1963. The sound is about the best you could ask for. I mean it's killer. If you crave sweet honky tonk sounds well friend this is for you, I'm tellin' ya....it's killer.
