This is a great show here. I actually like this better than any of his studio work. Slaid is in his element here.....playing live. I wish he would just go ahead and put out an official live album. Listen to this and you will see why. If you like good songwriting with a country bend, this is for you (surprisingly, lots of yodeling on here too). Features 2 of my favorite songs "Lydia" and "One Good Year". There are a few hiccups in the recording during the 3rd song, but overall this is a fantastic boot.

Great show. I was there that night with the recorder running. Hard to believe it's been almost five years.

Maybe that CD's owner can give it a little spray of denatured alcohol (92% - no water like the 70%), and clean it from the inside out (not circular, like an LP - you'd be surprised how many people still do that!), and then, if it sounds better, maybe repost it.

This guy's new to me, and damned good - but those hiccups take a lot away.
This is a great post, always been a big Slaid fan. But I can't get part 2 to work--is anyone else having trouble? Man, I gotta hear "one good year" and I can't get to it. Thanks for your blog, you are truly doing great work.
