Out Of Print: George Jones - Best of Vol. 1 Hardcore Honky Tonk

Well, this is kind of straying a bit from the Out Of Print Classics format because this is a compilation, but in my opinion this is the finest George Jones comp that has ever been made. Just look at that track list and see how much early possum gold is on there! This right here ain't no "High Tech Redneck" or "I Don't Need Your Rockin' Chair" folks....this is THE POSSUM, singing the best damned tear jerkers ever! I can't say enough how damned good this aptly named comp is, so I won't. Just download it and see for yourself.

1. You're Still on My Mind
2. Hearts in My Dreams
3. If I Don't Love You (Grits Ain't Groceries)
4. Why Baby Why
5. Relief Is Just a Swallow Away
6. Just One More
7. Out of Control
8. Last Town I Painted
9. You Better Treat Your Man Right

11. Window up Above
12. Achin' Breakin' Heart
13. Mr. Fool

  3. The Pride of Beaumont, TX is a gift from God (or depending on your perspective, Satan). Simply put, Country music has never sounded better than when it is coming out of this man's mouth.
This entry said Vol. 1 on it, is there more? (fingers crossed)
