ReplyDeleteCongrat & Thanks.
Your blog has introduced me to artists that I've supported, and others that I wish to support.
Your compilations make great companions while driving. Thank you for the work!
I went to see Gurf Morlix, who's from my neighborhood. (Buffalo, NY) Because of the songs you put into one of your samplers. (A heck of a nice guy, BTW.)
Some suggestions:
A Chris Knight Sampler, for the initiated.
A Brennan Leigh song or two, might help a young gal with a stellar voice. (I Still Think About You!, Pieces On the Ground, The Mountainside)
The Gaslights from KC, MO would fit into one of your samplers. (Old Blue Love, Silver Ring, Gone, Stars Fall)
thanks guys. You guys coming here an commenting is what keeps this place up and running. If I didn't think anyone cared I doubt I would spend the time to do it....so thanks.
ReplyDeleteWould love to see Gurf Morlix. I may be up in buffalo soon for business...be nice to catch a show there.
Will check the Gaslights and Brennan Leigh too (I usually check out most of what you guys suggest)
Also, A Chris Knight sampler is a great Idea. I've got a Slobberbone one in the works right now....will probably work it in after that.
again, thanks for comin' guys.
