All I can say about this one is WOW!!! Jason learned a thing or two during his stint with the truckers, number being how to put on a live show. If you like live truckers, download this.....it's as good as anything they have done. Some seriously good guitar playing going on too....Jason was always a killer guitarist with the truckers, but he takes to a whole 'nother level here.....I mean WOW!!! What's even cooler is he plays some of his famous songs he recorded with the truckers.....and expands on them.....adding some of that killer guitar he is soon to be known for. I'm really loving this recording, alot better than the album (which is out NOW btw.....go get it......and go check him out live)MP3

Thanks for this. Oddly enough I was just listening to Neutral Milk Hotel earlier today(and it was IN THE AEROPLANE...too) so I'm looking forward to hearing Jason's take on "Holland 1945".

Jason's take on HOLLAND, 1945 is a quieter one. It's quite nice and fitting (the album "In the Aeroplane Over The Sea" is based on THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK). Neutral Milk Hotel version is "bratty" and faster, odd, because most of the album is closer in spirit to Jason's version. The album is generally considered a masterpiece by most. If you like PARIS 1919 by John Cale then go find it, they're similar in feel.
