This guy put out probably my favorite album of '08. I think he says it all in this vid, from "If you want to hear Steve Earle songs, go to a Steve Earle show" to "Townes Van Zandt is the greatest songwriter who ever lived....period....stop.......exclamation point"

Justin Townes Earle's latest album "The Good Life" has really impressed me. Equal parts troubador and honky tonk (and by honky tonk I mean late 50's era country music), but not on the same songs. He really is a natural at both styles too, one of my favorite albums of 08 so far. This bootleg here is a good representation of that album, just a rollicking good time had by all and he even apes his dad's "devil's right hand" intro for Lone Pine Hill (one of my faves off The Good Life).
