As a long-time follower of Steve, going back to GUITAR TOWN, it is my sad conclusion that he has "Jumped the Shark". Too many wives, too many books, too many TV Shows, too much believing his own press, too much politics and too many drum amchines have left Stevie Too Bad.
There I've said it, let the growling begin...

ReplyDeletevaughn - SE has written some of his finest songs in recent years. It's your loss if you're too put off by his outspokenness to appreciate that.
ReplyDeleteYou are missing my point. I'm a huge left-winger but that still doesn't justify that he hasn't made a truly great album since I FEEL ALRIGHT and it's been diminishing returns since that one.
