This one's for the guys over at altcountrytab.ca. Two Cow Garage are a band from Columbus, Ohio who like there twang served up loud, or maybe they like their loud served up with a side of twang. However you want to put it, these guys are definitley graduates (or dropouts) from the Replacements school of rock. Fans of Lucero and Slobberbone/Drams will probably dig this, it's pretty catchy stuff. This recording is not the best in the world, but it's tolerable....a little hard to hear, but crank it up and you can hear every drumstick snap.
From the accompanying text file: The band played in the bar of a bowling alley in West Sacramento. Great show, unfortunately only about 15-20 people were there to see it. Recorded from front row of seats/tables, a little left of center (near left PA). Small room -- only vocals went thru the PA.

Twp Cow's from Ohio (Bucyrus and Lancaster, technically, but Columbus works).
You might be thinking of centro-matic, who hails from Denton, TX, and whose drummer, Matt Pence, has done some works on 2CG's records.
oh, my mistake. I'll fix it, thanks for settin' me straight.
